Lap 8 Al Mullet shunted Jim McMillan in
turn two. McMillan retaliated in turn 4. Larry Olson threw the black
flag for both to leave the track. Mullet parked his car at the flag
stand and got out to argue with Olson. Mullet then went to the pits
to argue with the officials. He came back out behind McMillan (who
had not left the track). Olson stopped the race to get both off the
track. Both McMillan and Mullet got out to say there was no problem
(McMillan had his arm around Mullet like they were buddies). Both
eventually went off the track.
