Westwood, 1978

Some racing results from Westwood for an early July, 1978 weekend of racing. Also some Mission drag racing included. And solo racing at Boundary Bay.

Here's an ad from 1980, for a slalom race at Boundary Bay airport. I think they used that airport for solo/gymkhana/slalom events from the early 1970s. And drag racing in the mid-1970s.

And, I've been told, an air race during Expo 86.

I think I might have mentioned this before but this is a more complete rundown of the 1961 Royal City Sports Car Club Triad event. It involved a rally, a gymkhana and an autocross. Looked snowy for the autocross and probably for the other events.

Snow forecast for today and tomorrow around here as well. Let's run the Triad again!
