Jack Cross black
flagged after he bumped into Larry Sproule. “It wasn't really his
fault,” said Sproule, “I was having trouble getting through the
corners since wh had just set up for the (Westwood) road course.
Sproule was 200 lbs. Heavier to meet NASCAR rules had qualified at
16.71
Jim Stratichuk hit
the 3rd turn corner wall on second lap of qualifying.
Severe front end damage.
