Amazingly I can't find a clip, let alone the movie trailer, for this 1961 movie. Looks like a few sports cars from the SCCBC were at the Lougheed Drive-In to promote the movie and the races.

I didn't get to see this when it came out because it was banned by the Catholic Universe Bulletin for depicting the unmarried star and his girlfriend staying in the same hotel room. When I finally did get to see it many years later it turned to be a decent movie on a par with The Racers (Kirk Douglass). The magic part is the cars. The stars look very much like Jaguar D types and the background is filled with Ferraris and Maseratis and Fiat 500s.
