Small ad and small results (result, really) from the Vancouver Province. The August 24, 1964 newspaper seemed to be dominated by a band called The Beatles that played Empire Stadium the previous Saturday.

photo size issues
Maybe it's just me (although I've heard this from others) the images aren't as big as I would like. Especially if you're trying to read them. Two workarounds. Don't click right on the image. Click to the side of it. Seems to give you the option of enlarging the image if it has that little "plus" inside a circle. Or right click and open the image in another tab. Then you can again click it larger if the image has that little "plus". Hope that helps.
