On teevee Halloween night

I've mentioned Mel Anthony before. The half hour video, "Smoke, Sand and Rubber" will be broadcast on Seattle's PBS station Halloween night at 10:30 p.m.

another Marchant rear-engined super modified

The second, more successful, rear-engined super modified built by Jim Marchant and driven by Larry Sproule. Last I heard it was being restored.

Yeah, I know I've been out of circulation for a stretch. Bad posture, sore neck, couldn't sit at the computer for very long without wanting to leave. The pain is less, that's all I can say.

The Nostalgia Forum has been working over rear-engined sprint cars, why there weren't many on dirt.

I don't have an answer to that. There were a few on the pavement in the northwest. Here's one built by Jim Marchant.
