sad news, Adrian Lavigne

Was informed of the passing of Adrian Lavigne. He was a stock car driver at Digney, Haney and False Creek Speedways from around 1954 to 1960.

Better known in the sports world for his work with a soft ball team.

And an ad for a stock car track that doesn't seem to be listed in Allan E. Brown's History of America's Speedways.

The Rogers family from Regina

Seems like three generations of Rogers were involved in racing, starting with Billy Rogers. Ford was the family choice, business as well I do believe.

Emory Collins item from 1962

This google online newspaper archive is taking up a lot of my time.

The "local boy done good" was still making the Regina newspaper in 1962.

The top photo is from a McLaren site. I know I have photos of Emory to scan. I just have to find them....
