Been thinking about this speedway (I sometimes use the web forum name "Digney in Burnaby") recently. Sometimes I think about it constantly.
Too young to have gone there but it definitely played a big role in the development in racing in the greater Vancouver area.
It was built by Andy Digney for the post-World War Two midget racing boom and evolved, like most tracks, to be a stock car track.
Just as an introduction, and with work looming ahead, this post as a start for Digney.
