Wednesday, July 15, 1970, Langley Speedway

A big mid-week event, part of what would become known as the International Drivers Challenge (IDC). There were two variations, super stock and supermodified. This is the first IDC super stock race held at Langley.

Harold Hardesty and Bob Warman crash lap 3. Lap 5 Rick Adsit, Jim MacMillan, Jack Knight, Gordie Hemrich and Ken Sayers crash in turn one. MacMillan out. Sayers missed a few laps. Hemrich had rear damage.
