I grew up at that race track in the 60's. My Dad sponsored a car ( #69 driven by Larry Sproule. My Dad's company was City Auto Sales. You can see his sign in the You Tube video.) I remember so many of the names, Mel Keen, Ralph Monhay... How about "the kissin'crow from Idaho" ( poor man had a large nose and won lots of races. In those days the trophy girl presented the trophy along with a kiss) I have some 8 mm movies from there along with some still pics. What great family fun that was! Bring back oval track racing to the Lower Mainland! ... Cheers. Don Reimer
