Langley Speedway, October 9, 1966
Last race of the 1966 season featured the WELSCAR group (Washington Early-Late Stock Car Racing Association) and the Figure 8 Association, both based out of Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA.
I'm always worried I'm spelling names incorrectly, especially given the track record of many newspapers over the years that can give two or three variations of the same person's name in the same sports report, but I'll have to do the best I can with these drivers' names. While I have looked at some Washington State newspapers of the early 1960s to check up on Evergreen Speedway results (I have 1963 to 65 done) and a few Racing Wheels I'll just go with what's given at this point.
